Update for International Students who hold or have been approved for a study permit

Those students who hold or have been approved for a study permit for a program starting in May-June, and those classes are being offered online due to COVID-19, may begin their program online from outside Canada and complete up to 50% of it outside Canada, if they cannot travel to Canada sooner. This won’t impact their eligibility for the Post-Graduation Work Permit.

All international students who hold or have been approved for a study permit on or before March 18, 2020 may now travel to Canada, but must isolate for 14 days, even if they don’t have symptoms of COVID-19.
